Mandirs and churches
In RE this term we are learning about special places. We have learnt about churches, which are special for Christians, and Hindu temples, called mandirs. Mrs Thakur very kindly made a mandir (shrine) in our school and we were able to use our 5 senses to describe what we could see, hear, smell, touch and taste. We had to show respect before entering the mandir, by washing our hands, taking off our shoes and bringing an offering of fruit. Look at some of our pictures!
At the end of term we made our own church and created our own Christian wedding service!
