Dear 6B parents,
I have sent this information to you in an email, however, if you have missed the information then it is here for you to refer to.
From this Friday (6th) I will be setting ALL home learning on Google Classroom. Therefore, it is imperative that you follow the steps below to sign your child up.
I have sent your child an invitation to their school emails - many of them will have never accessed their school email, nor know what it even is!
For security reasons I cannot post their logins on the school website, as anyone can access this. Therefore, please email me at email@example.com for your child's login.
Children can log into their Gmail account on any device.
If you have any problems with this please let me know. It should be a simple 5 minute task - I don't want to cause any unnecessary stress!
Once your child has logged into their emails, they should be able to view the email I have sent, and click the invitation link. This will take them to the Google Classroom website, and allow them to sign in and accept the invitation, joining the class as a student.
I have played around with the software a little - I AM NO EXPERT! There are features that allow me to create quizzes for the children, set tasks, give them website links, and then I can provide they with both written and verbal feedback.
Please let me know ASAP if your child does not have access to a laptop/computer/tablet etc.
