Thank you to all of you yesterday for being absolute super stars! You all listened well to the instructions about staying safe at school and you followed them perfectly! I know it was a bit strange seeing everybody again but hopefully yesterday will make your 'Meet the Teacher Day' a little bit easier!
I have also listened to all of you when you said you were lacking motivation to complete tasks at home and wanted something a bit more fun to do! Next week, is French week so there are lots of activities already set for that.
A lot of you wanted me to post some baking recipes for you to try and some more drawing activities so I will get those sorted for you soon so keep a look out!
This is the time of year where you would normally be winding down for the end of the year and we would be doing a few more 'fun' activities so, I will still post 3 activities minimum a day but I will try and make them a bit more entertaining! In the last week of term, I will upload a load of booklets to help you keep your knowledge ticking over throughout the summer although these are optional!!
It was lovely to see you all yesterday and I am sure I will see you all around school again at some point soon!
Here are your activities for today!
Activity 1- I can write a story.
I know a lot of you have struggled to complete your stories so take today to finish them off if you need to!
Activity 2- All about me!
You should find out the name of your year 5 teacher soon so I thought it would be good if you were able to tell them a bit about you! Complete the sheet below (you can type it up on Word or make a PowerPoint if you prefer!) and then email me it back so I can pass it to your next teacher!
Activity 3- How to Draw a Seal!
As requested, here is a step by step drawing activity! Have a go at drawing this seal and show me how you get on!
Activity 4- Place value booklet
Keep working through your maths booklet! Have a go at pages 13-17!
