As a result of Education City not working yesterday, I have decided to give you activities that you can access through this website today.
Literacy- Please start learning your spellings if you have not already done so- those of you that were in school for the big test will have had a list emailed to your parents yesterday. For each spelling, make sure you write an interesting sentence so that you understand what the word means.
You have all been absolutely fantastic at setting and character descriptions so now is the time you can show this off to the people at home! Have a go at writing a description for the picture below. If you are happy for me to share some of your work on this page, email it to me; I would love to see what you have done!
Numeracy- You should be practising your times tables daily; make sure you keep up to date with these! The times table challenges can be found on our class page for you to test yourself at home- if you manage to complete them in 1 minute let me know!
Rounding!! You are all brilliant at this however, if you have forgotten, here is the video we watch in class to help refresh your memory:
Here are the activities I would like you to complete- if you want to challenge yourself and try a different group's work then go ahead!!
History- In your packs you will have noticed that there is a history project I'd like you to complete. Today I would like you to find out some interesting facts on your chosen topic. Remember, you could choose from: Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings or Tudors.
